Military riders in Lebanon County can travel at no cost on Lebanon Transit’s routes, simply by presenting a valid ID when boarding.

To take advantage of the offer, eligible riders can show a variety of IDs, including a VA card, active-duty military card, retired military ID, a driver’s license with a veteran logo, or a DD214 discharge form. The week-long promotion aims to honor the service of local military members by providing an easy, free way to travel around the county.

Lebanon Transit’s fixed-route buses operate on a flag-stop system, meaning passengers can wave to signal drivers to stop at safe locations along the route. Veterans using this service will be able to enjoy the flexibility of this system while taking advantage of free rides during Veterans Day week.

For those interested, route maps and schedules are available online, onboard all buses, and at the Lebanon Transit Transfer Station at 7th and Willow Streets. Riders can also visit Lebanon Transit’s main office at 200 Willow Street in Lebanon to pick up printed schedules or get additional assistance.

Lebanon Transit reminds customers that this promotion applies only to fixed-route services and does not include Shared Ride, Paratransit, or other specialized services.

Complete route maps and schedules are available online.
